Katy Summer Tailgate– August 14th – ”Back to School!” Downtown Katy – 6:00pm to 10:00pm
This brand new event will fill the streets of downtown Katy as we line them up with a Fun Zone for the kiddos, a Hot Wing Competition, Vendor Booths to check out right before school starts back up, a row of restaurants with plenty to satisfy any craving, and a street dance to the fabulous tunes of the Texas Twisters. Entry fee to this event is either a backpack or bag of school supplies. All donations, both school supplies and monetary, will benefit the YMCA’s Operation Backpack program, This program helps to ensure that many of our local Katy Kids start school with all of the essentials to kick off a successful year!
