I stayed from June 2020-May 2022. This community definitely feels like home, the only reason why I moved out was because of a job relocation. Alyssa, Manager, provides outstanding customer service and does an excellent job at enforcing rules on the property. Maintenance is very quick, responsive and efficient when you have a problem that needs to be fixed. Amenities (pool, gym, basketball court, theatre, playground) are well kept and maintenance frequently cleans and disinfects gym/court on a frequent basis. OPT is zoned to Exley Elementary (great school) which is about 5-7 mins from the complex, there’s a bus that pick up/drops off as well. Only thing I would recommend is if you have nice rims, make sure you have wheel locks or a garage. March 2020 my rims were stolen in the middle of the night, but that’s a risk at any apartment complex you stay at. Alyssa does a great job at informing the community when a crime/burglary has happened within the community. Community is very quiet, loud music is not an issue, property is well kept by maintenance. Overall a good community to stay in, I will definitely miss OPT! Tee N.

Oak Park Trails is a wonderful place to call home. I have lived here since May of 2014, and have never felt more at home than I do here. The apartments feel like a neighborhood in themselves. I love having an attached garage with direct access into my apartment. The office girls are incredible. So welcoming every time I walk into the office. I’ve been a resident of Oak Park Trails Apartments for six years. Over that time, and with marriage, we’ve moved into progressively larger units. Each floor plan perfectly suited my/our lifestyle at the time. I’ve enjoyed living here and the the amenities such as the movie theater and coffee bar. About a year ago new ownership took over the property. Though there was a very brief hiccup with a passive-aggressive manager (who walked off the job!) the owners got it right when they positioned the current Manager, Veronica. She and her team balance the line of firm but friendly. A few of the ‘old’ staff from the previous management have stayed on, the but the fresh-faces in key positions — such as Miguel, Head of Maintenance — are doing an excellent job. Any minor service requests that I’ve had are attended to in a timely manner. The grounds and landscaping are clean and well maintained. Their have been upgrades to the property over the past year including exterior paint, retitling the pool, and new patio furniture. Shawna, Veronica, and all the other management have been very responsive, courteous, and friendly when there are concerns and/or issues that need to be addressed. Miguel, Philippe and all the other maintenance crew are very nice and very competent as well! The amenities (basketball court, large media room, salt swimming pool, coffee bar, business work-area to name just a few) are all well-maintained. We were moving our son from Iowa to Katy where he was to start a new career. Oak Park made applying online easy and were helpful throughout the process. My son arrived the day before move in and went to his new employment where he was told his position was terminated due to budget cuts. We immediately went back to Oak Park Trails apartments and explained the unbelievable situation. Working with Veronica Mier, Property Manager and her team, they went “Above and Beyond” in helping us resolve the issue and directly started to find a renter to rent the apartment so we would not be liable for the next 6 months rent. The Management Team was extremely helpful and courteous. I can’t tell you what the complex is like (looks beautiful), but if Oak Park Trails resembles the Management Team, it would be A GREAT place to live. A HUGE Thanks to Veronica and her team! Oak Park Trails is the most beautiful property in Katy. Anyone who drives by while searching for an apartment can’t resist stopping by. At least I couldn’t when I moved in a few years ago. I was so happy to see Shawna and Lorita stay when they did end up selling. Both of them have always been so sweet and kind when I’ve asked anything of them. I was so impressed and appreciative Thanksgiving afternoon when the maintenance guys responded promptly to an emergency situation . They were very courteous even when it interrupted their holiday.
The office staff are ALL extremely nice and professional. Veronica is the best office manager we’ve had.

Istayed in these apartments for less than a year and the only reason I moved out was because I purchased a home. Let me break it down below why these have been the best apartments I have stayed at. * It is truly a community. The work that management has done to build this as a community is great! The playgrounds and pools actually get used. Nice people walk their dogs, play with their kids at the playground, tan at the pool and use the grills. * Management and the maintenance staff is on top of things! The garden is beautiful and it has always been. If there is a problem at your place, they will fix it immediately. * The amenities get used and maintained. One thing about other apartments is that they advertise their nice gyms, theatres and extra amenities but no one uses them. As weird as it sounds, working out with nice people around is a lot better. * The apartments are really nice and it really does feel like home.
